Nevada CTE CS Standards Crosswalk

What this is: a live audit of five computer science courses against the standards each one is required to teach. Pick a course and it shows you, standard by standard, which specific lesson teaches it — and which standards nothing teaches yet. The gaps are shown on purpose. A coverage claim you cannot check is not worth much.

If the vocabulary is unfamiliar: an indicator is the smallest unit a state standard breaks into, and it is what coverage is actually scored against. CTE is Career and Technical Education, the program area Nevada files computer science under. A CTSO is a career and technical student organization — here that means FBLA, which covers a block of leadership standards through competition and chapter work rather than through classroom instruction. Level distinguishes a first year course from a second year one; a standard written for the second year is reported separately instead of being counted as a failure in the first.
