Recent: I Checked My Own Courses Against a New National Report and Found a Hole — scoring four course builds against the seven foundational competencies named in the 2026 National Academies consensus study, reading the lesson files rather than the unit titles. “Distrust the Machine” — ACM Inroads. Submitted July 2026, currently under review. Argues that generative AI in the CS classroom demands productive skepticism rather than either prohibition or uncritical adoption, and offers a four-phase classroom scaffold for building it.
